The bambu lab studio does not work in mac

You may not need this anymore because they released a new dmg, but the way to find the ota directory is:

/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/BambuStudio/ota

I recently encountered the same issue. No matter how many times I removed the application via finder I could still not open the application.

I removed the ota directory, but it was not working still.
I went via the command line on my mac, and did a rm -r on the whole BambuStudio directory inside the ApplicationSupport folder. Then I reinstalled the app and it worked.

Thanks that worked for me as well! Just to clarify for someone looking at this after me:

  1. uninstall Bambu Studio
  2. open a terminal window and run this command: rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/BambuStudio/
  3. then reinstall bambu studio and you should be all good now!

20 months later, same issue and I still have to use this awkward fix…

Thanks

I couldnt find the window too and then I tried Window>zoom and the window popped up. Not sure if this fixes it for you but this worked for me. Looks like the window became super tiny and invisible becasue I had multiple screens. weird.
