The camera on the A1 never works

You watch your printer for hours at a time?

I’m far too concerned about a catastrophic print failure destroying the hotend to ever leave my printer unattended.

You don’t?

I mean sometimes lol, but I couldn’t imagine watching it during every print, that would get very boring and I would probably not get any sleep.

I don’t watch it every second of every print, but I check on it frequently enough to prevent stuff like this.

As long is your bed is clean and our first layer is fine this shouldn’t be an issue.

The camera does work for me and the picture is pretty decent, only my camera is very laggy. I think it’s even below 1FPS

It is 0.5 FPS on the P1S not sure about the A1 though

it’s just a cheap webcam. actually it’s not bad for still image but seem the quality is reduce during recording or streaming

How do you get still image from it?

I did not connect the A1 to my phone. Does that matter? If I have to connect to my camera in order to have camera output, I think I can live without the camera. I should be able to see the camera output through my PC, shouldn’t I?

Idk my a1 is working right now through orca with printer in lan mode. I can see like 0.5 or less fps…

It is working. the camera is 0.5 fps

Right, it’s working wonderfully.

As far as still image that only happens from using timelapse function which also doen’t work under some circumstance I haven’t tried to figure out.

Thank you! That did the trick!
