The H2D Vision Encoder plate

I purchased the H2x Vision Encoder plate, which is not a standard (for the H2D), and went to run the calibration. The plate is smaller than the rest of the plates, and doesn’t sit on the hotbed like it should, and the scientist in me doesn’t see it can be accurate if it isn’t placed right?

Should the plate be the same size as the rest of the H2D plates? If not, how do I insure it’s installed right before I start the process?

The calibration plate should still fit with the [Rear] tabs against the [Plate Locators] on the heat bed platform.

Although it is smaller, it’s smaller in width only which the locating tabs should still function just like the regular build plates.
