The lack of consistency in #Bambu Lab Software pains me

When posting a feature request to add dark mode to Bambu Suite, are we to use the feature-request tag in the Bambu Suite category, or should it be in the Feature Requests section?

Why does Bambu Suite have a logo and no description? Why does that logo have an annoying background?

If we are going for logo… please just use these. They have a glow so Suite shows up, and it’ll look good on either:

Handy doesn’t seem to have a unique logo, so I guess either leave it without or use Studio’s since they’re the same.

While making these I discovered something really obnoxious. They aren’t square?

Why :sob:

It’s the “Chabuduo” (差不多) School of Business… or… close enough!!! It reminds me of Russian Quality control during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. There’s more than just the cold war that is behind Russian Commercial Aviation not being certified to fly in many western skies and the same reason most Aeroflot routes switched to Western Aircraft for their international flights as soon as the embargo was lifted. Let’s just be grateful that there aren’t Bambu Defibrillator or Ventilators machines. Nobody got injured from a bad print.

As they say, “Немножко плохо - хорошо” (A little bit bad - is good). I remember I was roasted here last year when I brought up Chabuduo and the Chinese style of doing business.
But! Remember A1 recall and fire hazard? So someone could’ve gotten injured, lol.

Yeah, I recall that. The fanboys really got upset when Bambu’s ugly baby was called ugly.

The bottom line is that there is no prize for second best when it comes to quality; the Japanese learned that lesson long ago. During the ’60s, Japanese products were spoofed as inferior. The Japanese government quickly recognized this and mobilized industry to counter this stereotype and build best-in-class products.

In fact, it was U.S. quality guru Edward Deming who was invited to Japan to help them implement the concept of TQM, which is today’s granddaddy of quality control parlance. The irony is that Deming was shunned by GM in the ’60s, and it didn’t take long for GM, Ford, and Chrysler to be schooled in the industry that the U.S. almost single-handedly created—by the Japanese automakers.

Bambu’s missteps with quality control are a textbook example of what happens when a company embraces chabuduo—the Chinese philosophy of “good enough” that has plagued countless industries. Cutting corners, ignoring customer complaints, and hoping brand loyalty will smooth things over is a fool’s game. The Japanese understood that world-class quality is non-negotiable; Bambu still hasn’t learned that lesson. The backlash isn’t just about a few bad printers—it’s about a fundamental mindset that, if unchanged, will eventually sink them.

Want to make sure I understand. BS already has a Dark Mode. 3rd group up from bittom in preferences.
So are you wanting to request a specific feature added to Dark Mode?

Edit… Bottom… oops

Yes, Studio has dark mode. Suite, the laser software, doesn’t have it. I really wish they’d named it something more differentiated, like “BambuLazerz” or something

Ok, thanks. I learn something new everytime I open my mouth, move my fingers or my heart beats.
