The nozzle is not warm

I managed to switch the nozzle currents on. Now the nozzle does not heat up.What could I possibly break?

Can you be a little more specific in what you did?

There was a spark when disconnecting the wires.
After that the error message:The nozzle temperature is abnormal; the heater may have an open circuit.
I’m afraid I messed up another circuit board, or both.

The instructions for swapping hotends is pretty specific about turning the printer off before attempting the swap.

That being said, try reseating the connectors again (with the printer power off).
Make sure to press hard on the connectors. Also, I have found that it works better if you put the wires under the clip before you reconnect the connectors or replace the screws.

If that still doesn’t work, try reconnecting the original hotend you pulled out when things were still working.

Thank you! With these instructions I got the machine working. I have changed the nozzle several times and now the guy got a short circuit and did not cut the currents.

I’m glad you were able to fix it.
