I am facing an issue with my A1 mini hotend.
I had a major clumping while I was printing on my a1 mini “By Object”.
While removing the plastic, the thermistor wire was broken.
I got a replacement hotend and followed the following bambu wiki page to make the replacement.
But I am still getting the following errors.
“The nozzle temperature is abnormal, the sensor may have short circuit”
“The nozzle temperature is abnormal, the sensor may have open circuit”
Sometimes there is no error in assistant but the thermistor reading shows ~300 degree C.
Tear it all apart & do it again. Check the pictures to make sure the wires are in the right place & make sure you didn’t pinch the thermistor & heater wires.
I tried it again, ensuring all wire are in right place and ensuring thermistor and heater wires are not pinched.
I found no issue in the wiring, still getting same error
The nozzle temperature is abnormal, the sensor may have open circuit
Then I would contact Bambu & see if they will send you out another heater.
Update:
Contacted official reseller from my country who has contacted bambu labs. Lets hope this gets fixed quickly.
Feeling handicapped without my printer.

I had the same problem on the normal A1 with AMS.
New printer, after 3 hours of printing I got the message.
I contacted support and they sent me a new hotend (by the way, the same evening of the problem I bought a new one by myself).
I replaced it, the operation is very easy, but I continue to have the same error.
At this point I think the problem is on the board connector… I hope they send it to me under warranty because I find it absurd that after a week that I bought it I still can’t use it
These sensor wires and the clip are not an ideal mix.
Easy to wreck things when getting this clip on, especially after a sever poop mess around the hotend.
And well, those flimsy connectors are far from ideal if you have to use them often.
Unless you take the AMS and top cover off on the P1S you have a really hard time here.
Not just that though…
Unlike USB connectors and such these ones can create contact issues that one can overlook…
If not seated correctly it IS possible to create a short of sorts that can damage the board and more.
There have been quite a few posts in regard to our Bambu printers failing to work after being set up the first time…
Starting to wonder how well their quality (checking) standards really are these days.
Especially considering that in many countries Bambu uses shipping depots.
Rather than have local support staff able to quickly send out spares there is huge delays thanks to all communication going through the online support and only once sorted there get directed to the local shipping depots.
Only to result in requires parts being unavailable there until new shipments arrive from China…
Get used to it people, the good times of the 80’s and 90’s where the customer care still mattered are over
