We’re having a whole host of issues recently and this is the latest one in the saga.
It’s happened since downloading the lates firmware and running a motor calibration.
Everytime we run a calibration this error appears, I’ve adjusted the belt tensioners three times (gradually getting closer and closer to the point where I’m worried they’ll break) and cleaned the carbon rods.
I’m almost convinced this is a bug as it wasn’t happening before this firmware update.
Hello, I’m experiencing the same issues as you. After downloading the latest firmware with the noise-canceling feature and recalibrating, I encounter an error message whenever I attempt to start a new job. I’ve attempted to adjust the belt tension following the instructions on the wiki, cleaned the rods multiple times, power cycled the machine, and even performed a factory reset, but unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the issue. I’ve now created a support ticket, so I’m hoping for a positive resolution. Let’s see what the outcome will be.
I bought my Bambu X1CC unit 1 week ago and out of the box received X/Y resonance frequency error. Upon a new firmware update it dissapeared but again appeared in 2 days. I’ve done belt tensioning procedure and the error was again gone for 3 days but now I am receiving The resonance frequency of the X axis is low error. I will try to tension the belts again but it seems like a software bug to me (everything is printing perfectly so to speak). Firmware version on the machine: 01.07.00.00 (it says latest)
Same problem, tried everything multiple times. Dont waste time, contact bambu team.Support will send new carbon rod assembly, need to prepare for a big job replacing it
Dissasembly hasn’t been too bad but if you decide to do it, make sure you move the whole tool head closer to the front of the printer as I left mine close to the back of the printer and it’s really hard to work on.
I am currently stuck on trying to remove the belt end stops as they’re wedged so tight and almost impossible to remove.
They had me run a test print that performed a resonance test at intervals along the X axis and then I sent them the logs. This was their reply:
Thanks for sharing your info. I cant remember anyone else that was sent a new x axis assembly from support. Much less two owners with problems at the same time. I know some has bought spares tho.
Had this error pop up my first print after downloading the new firmware update . Have gone through and cleaned and adjusted the rods and belts according to the wiki several times and still have the error after a print or two . Strange thing is that there is no degradation in print quality. Also the printer is only a couple of months old .
I maybe found a solution. After trying to clean the rods and calibrate lots of times, a new error popped out.
HMS_0300_1000_0002_0001 The resonance frequency of the X axis is low. The timing belt may be loose. After i tried doing exact steps from video of 0300_1000_0002_0001 code bambu wiki . Couple hours now in printing, have no errors
Still experiencing this issue, not reported to Bambu yet since my AMS is also giving error time to time (4 flashing lights) and I am in contact with them to resolve that first.
Do you have any recommendations other than cleaning the rod, calibrating the axis? (which I have done multiple times) There is a new firmware did anyone try that for this issue? ( 01.07.01.00) I am still using 01.07.00.00
Yes,tried to update already.still have no errors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0T43m4FB854 Try the finger pulling belt as shown in video. Also spray directly IPA on rods and belt and move to side couples of times until smooth slide, hold a towel below not to spray on anything else inside. Also spray IPA from the back side where the belt is going directly inside and clean with a toothbrush a bit.
So calibration went well and was able to print a test print. However, after that print I then started receiving errors - this time regarding the Y-axis…
It doesn’t seem to be affecting anything and I already tensioned the belts correctly when I reassembled the printer so I am just going to leave everything alone.
That said, I have reported it to Bambu Lab support.
Done the cleaning routine dozens of times in the last 2 weeks. Retensioned the belts probably 20 times. Still getting that flaming message - SOME of the time. It’ll go away for a few days, then come back with a vengeance. Not sure I want to strip the machine and install new rods - and doing so every 6 months would be a real PITA.
But right now it’s working fine*, so I’m minded to leave well alone.
*apart from an underextrusion issue; odd that they happen after each FW upgrade. Oh well. On the basis that it MIGHT be worn extruder gears, I have ordered a new set of those too.
Hey, yeah everything seems good now after replacing the X-axis.
I did have a similar issue with the y-axis but adjusting the belt tensioners fixed this.
I noticed on the replacement X-axis that the tool head was a lot smoother than the original X-axis and this has something to do with the torque of the screws used to secure the tool head to the bearings.
