It took a bunch of iterations but it prints well now and best so far with Bambu Filament or Elegoo - Sunlu makes different sounds (possibly my filament settings)

Simple Assembly:
- The “Sunflower ring” snaps over the “Sunflower core” of the base.
- The spring will need to be pushed slighly to fit the ring in place
- The spinning rings snap into the “Sunflower core” of the base.
- Loosen the “Sunflower core”
- Because of the overhangs the sunflower core tends to be slightly stuck.
- Simply use your finger to slide it down a first time to break any attachment points

More of a test if anything. I see a lot of very simple models that get super popular, even models with tons of almost the same designs, so I wonder, is it a social media thing where they already have huge followings that check out their stuff. Some people say to post in the forums and facebook, some people say that doesn’t do anything.
Im actually shocked at the amount of prints and downloads most of my stuff gets but if a couple posts in some forums boost those then hey why not. As long as im not spamming forums repeatedly like a bot and keep it on topic I don’t see the issue. Plus I dont beg for boosts or likes or try to do any sharing schemes like many people either, and I see that everywhere haha
Well, despite trying to make clear I only asked a question without meaning to offend the post was flagged and hidden by the bot patrol.
If YOU reported it then that IS fine with me.
But if now the AI and bot patrol here develop a god complex I think I won’t bother with posting anything here any more.
A system run by AI and bots is a flawed system…
I do understand the section is there to share to prints so I was just curious why people post their Makerworld links and projects.
If it a self promoting thing then great but it does not really make sense considering we already share our prints on Makerworld anyway.
Guess I am just too old school for all these useless AI systems taking over the internet.

I definitely didn’t report your comment, if anything I was down to continue a discussion about things. Why would someone report your comment, cause ya that seems a bit wild.
And to continue why I may try and promote. Honestly totally new to all this but in the past one of my biggest flaws people like to point out is a lack of self promotion. I have always been of the mind anything I can do anyone can likely do with a bit of Googling. Over time it is something people have pushed on me alot.
Add that together with the 3d printing and Makerworld and im not sure how much promotion people are out there doing. I am by no means trying to make a living from posting models but I do find it facinating how some of the models have blown up and hey I wouldn’t mind getting in on that once or twice for the rush and maybe some upgrades.
I do get that Makerworld is kind of the promotion but like I said it’s like a test. If extra promotion shows no results then so be it, if it does than some models I make I may do a couple little self promotion days if I have the time.
All fun and games for me. Noone getting rich from free models.
This is a 3D printing forum, not an airport.
You don’t need to announce your departure…
Stop hijackin the OP’s topic.

I wonder what “share your prints” means, if not to share your prints?
