ātop-of-the-lineā and āAbove our current X1 seriesā were both used by them in regards to this printer, and theyāve replied to people calling it the flagship without denying it
I will not pay 3k to buy that Snapmaker. I would rather buy one very good 3D printer, or two X1Cs. Howās the sale of that Snapmaker? I would love to know if it has broad appeal.
I donāt think they have explicitly used that word in their own base posts, but they did not deny it las February when someone asked after the golden ticket winners were chosen
If the new printer is positioned as the new flagship, it will mean that it is designed and produced to have mass appeal. It will unlikely have functions like laser engraving or CNC which is niche.
BTW, a flagship will also not have a big price tag. A flagship is usually the best seller of their product line. A big price tag is not going to sell that many.
So they did say āflagshipā. I will be surprised if it has laser engraving or CNC in it. But I can be wrong. Itās not like I have studied the market
