I think your line-by-line analysis really highlights how tone-deaf Bambu Leadership comes across. What’s more, they treat their users as if they’re idiots and play the “we are misunderstood” card. At the end of the day, they were caught red-handed trying to implement a blatantly user-hostile policy, and it blew up in their face. This makes their botched handling of the A1 power cord issue seem tame in comparison.
For those of us who remember, they initially tried to downplay the seriousness of that issue and avoided using the word “recall”—until they got called out for it, much like in this case.
I predict they’ll simply go underground and continue obfuscating their intentions at a slower pace. This situation was likely a trial balloon to see what they could get away with.
