There is a part I make with threads and I find using variable layer height helped, the only thing I didn’t like was the changes on the outside surface(for female thread part) because of the different layer heights. I have been trying to figure out a way to make the thread without needing the variable layer height. The strange thing is that the male part prints fine, but the female part gets messed up.
I tried different thread settings in Fusion and they all make the angle around 30° give or take. I was hoping to find something closer to 45. I also tried rounding the edge of the threads, but that didn’t help either.
I will try the lower layer height next as @JonRaymond suggested.
