Finally got annoyed enough by all the email notices about posts in tracked threads that I decided to look into it. Too much spam hitting my inbox on tracked threads.
In your MakerWorld >Forum< preferences section, there’s a tracking category of settings. One was to automatically track a thread if you read it for 5 minutes. I’ve been racking up tracked threads just by reading posts. Apparently that’s the default.
You can also show your tracked threads. I have pages and pages of them.
I do track threads sometimes but not that often. I get automatically tracking threads you post in, but anyone who reads much on here has probably also been racking up tracked threads.
You can also leave all the tracking stuff in place and just turn off email notifications too. I like a few email notices. Not a fan of the constant deluge though they are easy to block delete. I use a junk email for these kinds of things but still was surprised there were so many notices.
Anyway, heads-up if the tracking is annoying for you too. Easy enough to turn off but defaults are very spammy.
