Timeoutexception after 0:00:10.000000: liveview timeout

Just set my PS1 up last week and having similar problems on the phone app and on windows. On my phone it gives the “Timeoutexception” error while clicking the live button on windows just says “Initializing…” without giving an error-- Hasn’t prompted anything for over an hour.

My solution was updating to the the latest firmware!

Same issue here. Upgraded to 01.07.00.00, the problem is still there. P1S

i have had the same problem for the last week

but found that if in bambu studio you go to device and then top right corner of the camera screen you have the video setting button in wich you check on go live this was turned of with the latest update, it will ask you to dowload something and after it worked again in bambu studio and in the handy app

hope this will help for some people

having the same issue on x1carbon bambu slicer and handy app

Looks like mine is finally fixed as well. Not sure what did it… but I was finally able to see everything like before this week. (live view on phone app and computer) hopefully everyone elses fixes soon as well.

I started having this issue right out of the box with my P1S and after updating to firmware 01.07.00.00 the issue was resolved on both the mobile app and studio. This, unfortunately, doesn’t lend a lot of weight to the offering from Bambu that you can just “not upgrade to new firmwares” if you don’t want to. They know very well that line of thinking will leave people with a poor hardware and/or software experience. Real happy I got a Bambu printer right as they started pulling the rug out from everyone. /snark.

I received the error code for liveview and it resolved by turn off my x1c and powering it on after 15 second. Everything came back normal.

That fixed the issue for my X1C as well

I am experiencing the same error on both the Studio software and the Handy app. Anyone have a fix for it?

Same Error, I also cannot access any of the previously recorded time lapses. I should also note that I am currently running the most updated version of Bambu Studio and my X1C has the latest firmware installed.

Same here and the same error on both the Studio software and the Handy app. Out of the blue, I hope it gets resolved soon.
Switching the X1C off and on dos not resolve it.
Also not able to access the recorded timelaps recordings as I was used to …
Running Firmware: 01.08.02.00, Bambu App: 2.18, Bambu Studio: 1.10.1.50

Mine got resolved. I deleted handy, redownloaded it. I unplugged my printer for a few minutes then plugged it back in and powered on. Did that twice and it finally got resolved.

Same issue here after the update no more acces to video or SD card.
Any solution ?

I had installed an extra camera on my a1.

I used a blink mini that I got for free after buying $100 worth of groceries. They are cheap, regardless.

You can print a mount for the camera. There are quite a few of them out there. It’s a way better camera than the one that is built into the Bambu A1.

I couldn’t tell you how good the Cam is on my P1 S because it hasn’t worked since I got it. I’ve printed for another Blink mini and will be installing that shortly.

The only pain is that you see the video feed through the Blink app and not Bambu Handy or Bambu studio.

I was prompted to buy a Subscription and didn’t bother. I just use it to check on my things As they are printing, So I don’t know if the time lapse feature is free.

There are other cameras available out there and I understand almost all of them are pretty good and some require no subscription.

Like I said, the subscription is no Big deal to me.

I think you’d be happier with the quality of The picture from an aftermarket camera then you would be from the one included in the unit. Especially the A1 unit.

I hope this helps,
Jason

I had the same problem with my X1C and the problem is a glitch in the last printer firmware. I downgraded to previous firmware and now it is working wel. Camera live is working again.
