Tons of Issues since .09 release

I have two X1C with 2 AMS each. The newest printer has been fine but my older one has run into a bunch of issues.

I was getting a message “please pull out the filament on the external spool hold…”, even through I havent used the external spool. I unplugged everything to make sure nothing was stuck, then rebooted.

Then I got a message that my hotend is clogged so I changed it out with a brand new one, keep getting the same message so I rebooted again.

Now I am getting a message that the AMS failed to spend out Filament. You can clip the end…

I took apart my AMS to check all the tubs, nothing was broken. I tried a different slot, same message.

This is what I am doing.

  1. on AMS menu, select the spool, edit, then load
  2. The arm moves around then to the back, display say it is heating up.
  3. Soon as it moves to the next item (Push new filament into extruder) it flashes the message. Dont even turn the AMS spool.

I am using the 1.09.00.01 firmware
AMS firmware 00.01.06.62 (both)
AMS hub 00.00.00.43

Not sure what I can do next other than try to go back to the last good firmware.

I think I have one issues fixed “AMS failed to spend out Filament. You can clip the end…”. When I swapped out the hotend I must not have push all the connectors in all the way.

Did you do a factory reset after the update? I think Bambu recommends that and I have heard a few times that it really solved some weird issues.
