Printers like the X2D, H2D, and H2C all come equipped with a built-in toolhead camera, but right now, the only way to use it is through AI monitoring features such as spaghetti detection and nozzle clumping alerts. There’s no option to actually view the toolhead camera feed yourself in Bambu Studio or Bambu Handy. The live view only shows the chamber camera, which gives you a wide-angle shot of the build plate but none of the close-up detail that the toolhead camera captures.
Ideally, Bambu Studio would let you toggle between the chamber camera and the toolhead camera, or, even better, display both feeds side by side or in a picture-in-picture layout. The hardware is already there on these printers; it just needs a software path to let users access it directly.
