today when printing abs i got an error about toolhead cover coming off. i checked and found the magnet on top left from the cover was stuck at the toolheads magnet. i could take it away and noticed that left and right magnets from the head are not exactly glued the same deep. left side is deeper inside, it didn’t have contact with the magnet from the cover and slowly pulled it out. guarantee? new cover or complete new housing?
I’ve had this a few days ago and used Alu tape for the quick fix.
Meanwhile the support answered and proposed gorilla glue or epoxy …
Spare part should be available end of april (EU stock).

When you say Gorilla Glue, which type? The “Super Glue” version or something else?
The same thing happened to me whilst printing abs. The thing ripped a wire.

Same thing happened to me today, both top magnet’s adhesive failed.
For now I have super glued them back into place.
Searching it appears that heat resistant varies among brands but they should all be at least strong enough to 80 degrees celcius.
Looks like the original adhesive is some kind of epoxy. If it fails again I will go that route. Will just have to make sure to only use a small amount as to make sure the magnets completely seat.
