toolhead front carriage - how to replace? specifically (see my image, RED arrows), adjusting the PTFE holder, it has two screws on it, the plate itself slides up and down. WHAT IS ITS CORRECT position, - the wholw way down, the whole way up, or what? nothing on wikipedia page on this. the PTFE tube sits in this guide, then goes into the extruder. any assistance appreciated, thanks
Ideally, the bracket should be raised to the highest position, as it can help keep the PTFE tube straight before entering the extruder.
It will also avoid the chances to loosen the PTFE tube by pressing on the coupler.
The purpose of this bracket is to make it easier to push the PTFE coupler downwards, to release the PTFE tube.
thanks for excellent reply ! so, the bracket allows me to get the one “bambuTool BufferFork” between the bracket, and the coupler, and release the tube !
ONE other question. CAN the extruder with the coupler be repaired, if the stainless steel retaining ring inside it breaks? I saw a couple other posts on this.
I BOUGHT a new extruder part to have on hand, as i was not sure how all this worked, but if the extruder part breaks, and it is just that ring, i’d like to repair it if possible. thanks again !
I am sorry, but I am not sure about what part you are referring to. A picture would help
If it is the extruder filament sensor, you can easily replace it.
dear support assistant, see my picture. red arrows. shows the bracket that has two screws (left and right) to adjust it.) the other bambu forum member understood this very well, see his reply, confirm if it is correct, or if yo have other info to add? thanks
Purchase a Filament Sensor.
Follow this guide.
thanks for reply.
