Make sure your filament is dry, if the filament is dry try increasing your flow rate in small increments and finally if that does not work increase your nozzle temp.

In my experience on low angle top surfaces, close to horizontal, you need to slow down and use more cooling or the layers underneath curl up during printing and ruin the top surface finish. Also switching top surface to concentric may help a bit.

I had the same issues on this model and went through a lot of struggle to get a good looking top surface. I couldn’t use much cooling as I was using ASA and it gets brittle with cooling.

Thank you i will give this a try. I was going to try the flow rate against the filament which is defaukt st 0.98 but i also see people mdbtion top layer flow rate.

That does look very familar indeed to your part and issue. Lower level curling wasnt sonething i had considered but it certainlg would explain a couple where the infill almost breaks through. Thanks for your feedback and experience.

How many top layers are you using? Looks to me as if the number of top layers is too little.

I have varied that from default up to 8 i think it was and no change.

I cant even get it to look right in the software before running, laying it flat elimates alot of it but then i get that break through what could be curling issue.

Thought it was under extrusion so removed hotend and extruder today just to check bo blockage

Maybe Im too late to the party but… have you tried with Ironing type? that might be useful.
