I nee nothing wrong with this model. No need to report it now that it’s no longer in that contest.
Sure, they have a lot of low quality posts on the makerworld community, but I don’t think that is a valid reason to report their account.

That doesn’t mean that people can’t learn from the thread.
It’s really not that old and if someone else comes across it and decides to try to report the author, then that would rather unjust.

Where do you see that I encourage reporting? At most it is reported for the contest and it was done and removed. I don’t understand the continuation of your speech, whoever reported reported for the contest that the user used for advertising and spam. If you claim that the users reading this post can do something else, you are going off track and making the reader look stupid.
