That is an odd problem. Do you have an SD card installed? Does it do it if you remove it?
yes, I have SD card inserted. Is it safe just to remove sd card?
You might try using a different SD card. A failing card can often cause booting and hanging issues.
I see. Let me find other micro SD to replace it. Thanks for the input
change with a couple of micro sd sandisk and lexar but still freeze after printing done. I think I will create ticket for this
Thanks for the report back. Hope you get your issue solved!
Did you get the issue resolved? I think I’m observing somewhat similar behavior with my mini recently. (maybe a bit early to tell)
I have the same issue with my X1C, anyone know a solution?
Yes I’m the same with my miniA1. Freezes after print job. Also I get parsing error when I try and print via the SD card
I’ve just started getting it with the A1 (6 months old) but it’s random. Sometimes at the start of the print, other times during. I’ve tried a firmware refresh so I’ll see how that goes. SD card is fine, power to the house is fine.
Hopefully the firmware refresh solves it.
Have the same issue with one of my A1 mini printers, screen becomes totally unresponsive usually within a minute or two of starting a print. Has anyone managed to find a resolution for this? On latest firmware and no issues with the touchscreen before printing starts…
I wound back the firmware and then updated/ refreshed and haven’t had it repeat since. Worth giving it a go Phil.
Thank you, will give that a try. It seems somewhat intermittent, managed to complete an entire print with the screen functioning but then froze up again on the start of the next print. I can still interact fine and send prints from my laptop even when the screen is frozen - I guess it may also be worth trying a fresh SD card.
What I did to solve it is change the lcd assembly since it still in warranty.
