I recently submitted a support ticket regarding my printer, but unfortunately, it has gone unanswered. I wanted to ask the community if anyone has experienced a similar issue and can offer some guidance.
My printer model is X1C+AMS. I’m currently located in the US. Issue: I’m unable to use the machine. When I turn it on, the bootup process seems normal, but when I try to use the touchscreen it acts frozen. Additionally, the machine is showing as connected on the screen, but it’s unavailable on my network. I’ve checked the cables and they appear to be in good condition. Checked the network and no active assigned address for DHCP. I don’t know if my issue is a faulty LCD screen unit or the main SoC?
If anyone has any insights or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. I really wish Bambu Labs would honor existing customers with warranty support. It seems odd to offer a warranty without an efficient process to support issues like mine. I have projects to build and this thing is frustrating me sitting there like a brick!
It might be that looooooong cable from the touchscreen to the board in the back
It’s a bit of a process but if you are positive that the wire end is plugged all the way into the touchscreen (and not upside-down but if that wss the case it would never have worked) then I would remove the rear cover and check the wiring at the board
First things first though, don’t just switch the power off. Unplug it from the power source for a few minutes, plug it back in and see if she rips again
If that doesn’t work it’s time to break out those pesky allen wrenches to start loosening and removing teeny tiny machine screws so you can get to that controller
It’s actually not that bad and a good opportunity to readjust the belts and clean things up a bit
Brandy, I’m going through basically the same issue. Unfortunately I’ve been waiting on a reply to my ticket since….lets see 11/9/24, so over 2 months now and NOTHING!!! Last night I almost gave up and wanted to just take a baseball bat to this thing, but i I didn’t’ and instead went googling again for a solution. I own two of these both with the ams and this is such a waste of time and money. It’s super disappointing that Bambu takes your money and then puts you on the backburner for 2 months. Please keep us posted if you get a reply or a solution. Thank you
Was your issue ever resolved? I just got my first machine, A1, and after assembly upon turning on the unit, the screen is unusable. The image is upsidedown, backwards, and split by color. The unit is unusable.
