TPU for AMS, is multi-color possible

Is it possible to do multiple color TPU for AMS multi-color prints.
I’m deaf but have cochlear implants but recently found some Cochlear Implant models and after talking to my audiologist about printing those models for the children she said it would be helpful to young children who will be undergoing that surgery. It helps a young child get used to wearing the devices.

I can certainly print single color but multi-color open up my options and was wondering if multi-color TPU can be done.
I’ve printed them in PLA and they break so thinking about trying TPU

I haven’t tried that one in multicolor yet, but I don’t see why not if it’s all the same type of filament.

One thing to be aware of though, that TPU for AMS is a cool filament, but it’s not as soft/flexible as other TPUs. I’ve done a very thin print and it was very flexible, but something larger and more 3-dimensional might still be fairly hard from what I’ve seen online about it. Maybe less so if it’s more hollow (just a guess).

Yes you can print in multicolor with TPU for AMS.

I printed a model unrelated to this question with the lone spool of TPU for AMS I have as a test, yesterday. Quite stiff but my main goal is to alleaviate breakage while children get used to the concept of wearing the external device. The real device is quite expensive.

The model is not complicated as far as multicolor. Whoever designed model put  on it that constitutes probably the last 10 layers or so of the model. So the main print will be one color then swap to a Valentines Day type color for the last ten or so layers that will finish the model.

Yes, I have printed multiple colour coasters with complicated designs amongst other models that I normally use PLA for.

They turn out more useful than the PKA versions as they have a bit of grip to them.

The colours don’t blend where they shouldn’t and the design remains as crisp as the PLA version.

It easily handled a four colour model, fast, clean and just generated waste the same way PLA does.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear. Multiple objects, multiple colors.
Thank you.
