TPU on P2S

Hello all. I am still fairly new to 3d printing. I have a P2S and recently bought a spool of 95A TPU. What are you all using to feed TPU to your machines?

I’m specifically asking about your feeding set up. Are you using an AMS HT? Top spool? Side spool? I live in Texas, which is VERY humid, for context. If you can share pictures of your set up that would be beneficial. Thanks!

I would recommend printing a top spool holder that clips on to the top of the p2s.

I was looking into that. Would the filament absorb to much moisture just in the amount of time that it is out of my dry box while printing?

It could, you may just have to dry the filament after each print. That is what I do.

Do you happen to know which print you used for your spool holder?

let me get it for you. Top spool holder for x1c/p1p/p1s - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld

I do not believe that one will work with the P2S. I may have to find an alternative. Thank you for sending though!

I wanted to print with TPU 95A on my P2S with AMS2 Pro, however the suggestions seemed complicated, so I purchased 2 Drop boxes that came with spool rollers and Hydrometers. My AMS is mounted on top with a tilting riser, so I’m able to remove the glass and mount the dry box close to the printer.
The box came with 2 tubes & seals, but I used a longer 2.5mm dia tube, struggled to remove the print head feed tube, but eventually fed the TPU manually and started the print. The tube fit nicely through the top and allows the AMS to be lowered. Perfect, its printing as I type.
