TPU Support issue

Hey guys,

i recently received my X1C and started printing TPU with it. Still figuring out a nice profile for it.

The problem i encounter is driving me nuts…
The part where the first solid layer is printed after the support is getting kind of underextruded and after the print finishes, I can rip the part away with my bare hands, almost no strenght needed.

in those images you can see both problematic layers in the slicer and the irl.
The bottom part of the print was removed as I tried to remove the supports.

This problem is making me regret the buy so far

Did someone else encounter this problem?

Greetings!

edit: tried in Bambu and Orca slicer

Hello,

You might be able to rotate the part or angle print it to use less support contact points ?

I Could, but on that particular part, there is no rotation with no supports.
Most of the TPU parts I print, require at least a little bit of support.

I’m just wondering how my Prusa was able to print this part without any problems… I also tried 3 different TPU Brands - all the same result

Not sure I’m following where the issue is. Are looking for a way to make removing the lower supported area easy?

If so, do us a favor and take a screen shot of the settings you are using now.
