I can’t seem to find any mention of these travel loops in the wiki or forum threads. Can someone help me understand the purpose?
Looks like a bug to me, never seen something like this.
Spiral lift on z-hop. The softfever fork lets you turn it off in the printer profile extruder section.
Any writeup about the supposed benefits?
I couldn’t find out much about it. I assume it helps reduce stringing.
Bambu baked it into studio so I also assume it must do some good. The circles occur as the plate drops so I imagine it doesn’t cost much if any time.
I just tried it on a temperature/stringing tower test piece and turning it off reduced print time from 1h:56m to 1h:51m.
Is it possible to turn it off within official Bambu Studio?
