I’m stuck. I’m printing a object that need tree support so it will be easy to get the support out of the object once its complete.
However the tree supports keep falling over, I presume the first layer of the support doesn’t stick well enough. I have tried regular tree, hybrid tree and adjusted some settings to reduce allowance but to no avail.
Any ideas how I can get the first layer to fuse better with the support tree?
If it’s PLA, increase the bed temperature to 70-80 degrees Celsius and set the speed to 50%. From what I can see, your supports are attached to the PLA, not directly to the heatbed.
I am printing transluceant pla from bambu. but its not the bed temperature, because the model sticks perfectly to the plate… the tree support is starting on the inside of the model, and thats where it fails.
My experience for support on the part itself is still the standard support and not the tree support. The base of the tree support is too small to be stable.
Are you using specific support material (ie. support for PLA) for the interfaces?
