Trouble selecting 'Paint on Supports'

I have a print that I’m trying to do which has some added Text on the bottom of the object (this is the face that sits on the build plate).

I picked a wide font, Arial Black, hoping to get a good view of the text when printed. Unfortunately it seems to have filled in most of that area for some reason. I have supports enabled, so maybe this is the support material but it’s locked onto the object and I can’t seem to remove it. Is there a way to minimize what Studio uses for supports in an area (no other areas on this print need any supports, so maybe I can just minimize supports globally and it would apply just here). Not sure which settings I need to tweak to help ensure these supports can be removed. If anyone has any ideas, please share.

I would just turn off supports, that bridge is tiny, shouldn’t be a problem.

You can of course fiddle with numerous support settings. Start by viewing the slice Preview in line type mode, when you look under the part you should notice the green support line color representing the supports there and this would allow you to dial in the various settings if necessary. I won’t go into that because I feel the best choice here is to eliminate supports.
