Trouble with AMS Lite Filament Hub

My system is new, just 3 weeks old and it appears something is wrong with my Filament Hub. When I press down on the locking ring and install the PTFE into the shown port, it doesn’t lock in place. I can pull it out manually. Is there anything that can be done to fix this, or is my only option to replace the Hub in order to use all 4 ports again? In general, how long should these typically last? They’re cheap, only $6, do others keep these in stock just in case? Would assume it should last more than 3 weeks.

On a different note, I also decided to replace my PTFE tubes (not fully seen in the image above) with clear PTFE to help make it easier to see filament location in the tubes. However, my prints don’t seem to be printing as well as when I had the Bambu supplied gray PTFE in place. I did make the clear PTFE tubes a little longer, about 6 inches, to give me a bit more room to rotate the Lite around when changing filament spools. Does anyone know if the AMS Lite system is locked into the exact PTFE tube lengths it comes with? Doesn’t seem like changing the length would cause an issue but something is. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

You shouldn’t have to push down the lock ring to install the tube. The lock ring releases the lock so you can remove the tube.
