I made a halloween door corner decor. i made it 5mm thick. 3mm color.2mm black back. when it printed i could see the black through the front. because sunlu is translucent. had i used polymaker there would be no isssue, but its not about me. I dont know what filament others use and dont want them to have this happen.
So. i went into fusion and deleted the black background and then re-extruded the colors all to 5mm. imported to bambu studio. used the same setup that i made the first profile with and exported the profile, the new 3mf to makerworld and clicked Add print profile. then I get this msg. Failed:
You cannot change the Printable Area, Printable Height, and Exclude Area in Printer Settings.
I didnt change any settings, when i imported the file into bambu i made it exactly the same size as the first. sliced fine. no error msgs, exported to makerworld. then got that notification. anyone know what is causing this. seems like a bug to me because ive done this many times. ty.
where is says Bambu X1 carbon nozzle 0.4. mine was Bambu X1 Carbon Nozzle 0.4 Copy. So i changed it to just Bambu X1 Carbon Nozzle. then sliced (is slicing the right way? or can you skip it) and exported to makerworld and it accepted it. the copy prob just had a change like from 220 temp to 210 temp. dont see how that’d cause a problem. thank you all.
Are you trying to replace the existing profile or add a new one? If you’re trying to replace the existing, does it work if you add it as a new profile instead?
