If it is as great as the sculpture maker it will be good for making fun replicas of someone where a match is out of the question.

I have done quite a bit of work over the decades restoring old photos, often from negatives but also from the photo itself.
Even did a few home movie restorations.
I learned a few things over the years, also that AI in this area is still learning and still not perfect.
Pumping out AI based tools might attract the masses and over time help the deep learning modules to get better.
From my work with the laser I know relief engravings require quite a bit of work.
You need to create a depth map - preferably one that matches the depth of the engraving while ensuring the image won’t get distorted.

You included this nice pic with the ‘creations’ of this tool but to me it looks like none of the reliefs were printed, let alone real.
It is another AI creation.
Are there any REAL WORLD examples one could check or is it all down to trying out and getting disappointed in the end?

I’m currently testing it and it’s SO MUCH BETTER than the previous Relief Sculpture Maker (which was rather disappointing). V2 is very decent :+1:

Here’s my dog, Mosey:

Is it perfect? No, not quite- but it’s really close

Well that’s new! Good find

To get those results, try printing the relief VERTICALLY.

Does this require us to upgrade to the nonsensical 2.0 version of BS? If that’s the case, it’s a non-starter.
