Thought I’d post this here after mentioning using a TVOC monitor at home when printing. ASA on an FDM, and resin printing with not enough ventilation put the levels in my office, which adjoins the print room at a TVOC level of 4-5.
So I put in a higher flow vent fan, and closed the door. It keeps it down to 0.1 to 0.3. And my normal background TVOC is 0.1 to 0.2. This varies by region. To my amusement a cup of black coffee sitting close to the air monitor raises the reading by 0.2. So be sure to drink those TVOCs instead of breathing them. Just kidding on that last sentence. There are some airborne VOC’s that are not harmful.
The Loyal Moses channel talks about he got sick from breathing ASA fumes.
Here’s a chart in mg/m3. If your air quality monitor measures in ppb, you can find charts for those too.
