Two Eiffel Tower fsilures

If anyone has read anything I’ve posted…wellli was a newbie a few weeks ago and still am. I’m trying to print the Eiffel Tower and well…failures. The problem is that there is no detail in the structure…only what is a solid wall on all 4 sides. Possibly supports, but don’t believe so.

Every timelapse video I’ve seen on YouTube shows incredible detail…not mine. My setup is the. Bambu X-1 Carbon with zero changes to what came out of the box.

I’m sure it’s pilot error.

Any advice would be appreciated. I downloaded the stl from 2 different sites. I would gladly pay for printable model as these 2 failed attempts were free.

I printed Eiffel tower by Newcandle - Thingiverse, and boldly didn’t use any supports at all. Bog standard 0.20 profile except I switched to Arachne. It came out just fine with the exception of the fence on the first platform.

Placed it in a window, and one of our beloved cats promptly sent it to the floor, breaking the topmost thingy. If I ever reprint it, I’ll add some kind of manual supports for that fence.

Oh BTW I recall I got a false positive from the spaghetti detection. I believe it was fooled by the truss structure.

Yeah…you’re correct…no supports the 3rd time around. Going well…problem was the supports. For some reason it printed less than 100%. Newbie error on my part…the solid sides were part of th we support system.

Thanks for replying👍

Printing complete…done…it was on me…pilot erroor on there previous 2…this looks great!!
