Two problems with the new firmware 01.02.01.00

I have one big and one small problem with the firmware 01.02.01.00 that came out today:

  1. only the first print after power on works. After that the printer does not load the print job from the cloud ;/
    (BambuStudio switches to the “Device” tab but nothing happens and no “Download” appears on the printer).

  2. the new filament loading function is great - but the nozzle temperature remains at 250°C after loading the filament. If you do not lower it manually, the filament burns!

All in all a pretty buggy firmware - I hope for a quick fix - am really disappointed!

Had some strange problems after upgrade:

  • Upgrade went OK
  • Calibration afterwards did OK
  • tried to use UNLOAD feature, which did not do anything. Tried LOAD which did cut filament but did not unload from extruder
  • tried to lower bed, no reaction. Tried to XY position, no reaction.
  • Did power cycle, printer came up but no reaction to load/unload, XY/bed position.
    Had to do a factory reset to resolve the situation and to get the printer working again.
    I also would like to have the nozzle temp go to 0 after load/unload …

How do I roll back to the previous version of Bambu? The latest version is no good for me.

I don’t think there is a way to roll back the firmware.

Since this update, my camera no longer works on the P1P. I did check cabling etc. All good there. touch panel works fine. Been printing great, just this camera issue. Not tto worried as I added a better one.

oops, typo! No touch panel

I and using go pro for some that i want better images for timelapse.

Oh and I got cam working. Seems the access code needed updating, odd though I did refresh code and entered it several times and cam did not work.
