Type of filament for job recommendation?

So I needed to print blanks for the hole in the black face plate. Did one in PLA for a fit test. You may ask “couldn’t you just buy them?” Well . . .the client ordered a double display enclosure as they needed the space below for a small power supply and DIN rail mounted terminals.
The manufacturer’s “blank” is a display minus the electronics. So it extends 3.5 inches past the face plate leaving insufficient room.

This one in PLA will stay as this enclosure is indoors. Most of them will be outdoors where the sun can hit them. The enclosure has a transparent cover (removed for the picture due to glare) so the display can be read w/o opening a cover.

This will be subject to heat, but no stress. Temperature can get as high as 120 Deg F.

So what filament would be recommended for this application?

Want to get it right, as they are willing to pay for these.

In my research, ASA is the usual recommendation for outdoor use due to it’s UV and heat resistance.
This is Bambu’s filament guide. You may want to watch CNC Kitchen’s testing on ASA

You have a few options depending on what other properties you are looking for – PC and ASA are both great for outdoor usage, and PETG as well. Of these, PC has the best heat resistance. You will need an X1C to print PC reliably, although depending on the size of that part you need to print, P1S might be able to handle it if it is not too big.

Went with ASA. I have a P1S.
