I have a part on MakerWorld that is size dependent.
Have received a few comments that I cant explain. The short is:
They printed and tried to follow the instruction. But the pennies don’t fit. They measure and and say it is smaller than it is supposed to be.
The real problem is not this part, it is a simple example. That can be problematic other places.
My first question was “did you scale”?
The tolerances are much greater than expected for extreme filament, or non calibrated printer.
Could be how it was measured.
Could be just an extreme set of pennies. If placed in the correct location. (probably the most accurate way to measure for someone via messaging)
Elephant foot does not apply, The critical dims are mid print.
Could just be someone that doesn’t know what they are talking about. Possible but I don’t think that is the problem.
Any ideas what might be causing it? Any Ideas what is causing the problem? Or what to check.
