Unable to bind my printer

We’ve had this X1C for over a year and i’m not sure if it’s ever been properly bound. We have had it connected to the wifi, but it’s on version 1.04 i think. We are having several issues with multi colored prints and using the AMS so i want to start by updating the firmware.

We i try to bind, i keep getting a Login Failed error. On the machine I am getting an error code Unauthorized User: Please check your account information 0500 0200 0002 0004 0808 15

I can’t recall if i bought the machine from Bambu or if a guy that used to work on my team did. So i don’t know if that’s causing the issue or what. So how do i go about getting this fixed so i can bind and update?

Tried submitting a ticket but it forces you to attach a photo and the log file, but when i do the site keeps faulting out for not enough memory.

I am able to connect to the printer via LAN, however I am unable to update it. I also get the Unauthorized User error in the HMS screen when connected via LAN.

Any update? We have the same problem with our printer, never connected to the network before, unauthorized user, running v1.03.
We’re also having issues with multi-coloured prints.

Back and forth with Bambu tech support and I finally gave up and ordered a new AP board. Received and installed but now i’ve been waiting on Bambu to respond to my ticket to transfer/update/register or whatever the new AP board to my printer. So long story short, zero progress on the actual problem!

Damn, talk about discouraging…
If it ever works, please give us an update, good luck!

Double-check your account info, resetting the network settings, and reaching out to Bambu support if you’re still stuck. They should be able to help get you squared away.

They couldn’t be more useless at this point. Half the time they just kept repeating themselves, or telling me to do things i told them i’ve already tried. It’s like they don’t read what i send them and are just cycling through tickets with useless general replies to check the box that they’ve taken care of a ticket.

And seriously, going on a week since i’ve send the info for them to activate the new AP board is unreal.

Were you able to figure it out? I can’t bind my x1c and the firmware is so old it doesn’t allow offline updating

Replaced the board and now it works great.

The AP01 board, I assume?

Yes the AP board. Mine was V2 that they sent.
