i think self-interaction means downloading own models and mutual interaction means when 2+ people engage in repearing circle of download-print-rate-boost each other actions. Unless the action is random i think such behaviour shows as pattern.
Yes, maybe. But they deducted 48 points. This sounds not like an “excessive” action. 
I wanted to redeem my $40 gift card but they said I had to wait a week after community guideline violations, (which may or may not have been intentional) in the end there is nothing to worry about. Just wait the time out.
They answered me and the reason was, I’ve got multiple boosts from one user in a short time. This triggered the system.
I ask to add these rules to the boost guidelines, because it can happen to any other users, which want to give boosts to other. For me, as example, I boost some models of a designer because I love, what he’s doing… also without printing all the boosted models. Without knowing, that the rule from above exists, it could be, that the designer runs in a violation without fault only because I thought, I spend him some more boosts before they expire. That have to be changed, I think.

Whilst I can see that technique Cupid be used by bad actors, it is used by well-meaning people to reward designers far more.
Annoying that they penalise people (or assume the worst of them) because someone used the system they provided to reward designers!

I received 2 boosts from one user, on 2 different models.
I am pretty sure that the one who gave it to me, never wanted me to be penalized, yet that’s what happend.
Strange thing is, you lost less points then I did.
I found the transaction, and it was about two boosts in 1 minute time. That costed me 60 points that were taken from me, plus a week in Bambu Jail without a lawyer (This seems to be a Chinese measure)
Hey, after the update I can now see, that I have request to redeem a gift card for my points. This is a huge improvement! And by the way, they not accepted my appeal for the lost points with reference to rules that are not communicated anywhere. It is like it is. Let’s see, if the current redeem - after the 1 week bann - will work now.
