Unable to Save project filament as User Preset

Had some trouble with Bambu Studio not remembering custom filaments I imported, so I reinstalled and cleared user settings. Now things are apparently worse.

Now it will not let me save the filament from the .3mf as a user filament:
The current preset is embedded in the 3MF project file. Please save changes directly. ‘Save as new’ is not supported for preset inside project.

Bambu Studio 2.8.2.60

Anyone else seeing this?

Same here, no way to save a filament profile shared as 3MF like we used to :frowning:

I have rolled back to the previous version. I found numerous work stoppage issues in 2.8.2. Many of them had absolutely nothing to do with the change log, so something somewhere has been seriously screwed up.

has anyone figured out why i cant save these as a user profile or export it as a config?
