Unable to upgrade/downgrade the firmware

Hello everyone! Thank you in advance and sorry for my English or if I am in the wrong section.

Unfortunately, my “super-new” (I received it two days ago 01/07/2024) printer (X1-Carbon) doesn’t seem able to work. Many errors occur, but the most important are related to a toolhead malfunctioning or the firmware. In particular:

The extruder head does not heat up (neither manually nor during the Auto-Diagnostic operations or during printing):

HMS_0500-0300-0001-0002-0324-04: The toolhead is malfunctioning. Please restart the device.

The printer also assumes a filament in the slot related to the Spool Holder (but I have only one filament in the AMS).

I tried to reset the printer to factory settings and in the first calibration there were other errors such as:

HMS_0300-0F00-0001-0001: Abnormal accelerometer data detected. Please try to restart the printer.

HMS_0C00-0100-0001-0001: Micro Lidar camera is offline.

Currently, in the settings page, the firmware version is 01.07.02.00. If I try to update it to 01.08.00.00 or install earlier versions I get a warning that the update fails (see image).

I don’t know what to do anymore. The machine is practically brand new (it has been used for 3 hours). Any solution to force the downgrade/upgrade?

Got the same with my brand new P1S error HMS_0500-0300-0001-0002: Took the head apart and everything seems fine even got the green light at the back. I only printed the Benchy yesterday unboxed. Today only trouble shooting. Also replaced the nozzle. Never had any issue with my other cheap printer. Kinda dissaponted at the moment in Bambu :frowning: made a ticket but no responds yet.

I feel sorry for you, I know how frustrating and disappointing it is.

Do you receive an answer from the technical support?

They told me it is a TH problem and that it’s not possible to force the upgrade/dowgrade via microSD. Therefore, they are sending me new TH board and USB-C connector. If them don’t fix the problem I’ll ask for a substitution of the printer.

Yes I got this as responds let’s hope it will fix it. But reading up many post about this error ppl are almost replacing al things in the printer and are busy for like 3 months and then still don’t work en eventually getting a new one :disappointed:.
