Unable to upload a 3mf due to beta error

I keep getting the error Unsupported 3mf version. Please make sure the 3mf file was created with the official version of Bambu Studio, not a beta version.

I have tried using the following

  • Bambu_Studio_win-v02.06.00.51-20260417160415
  • Bambu_Studio_win-v02.05.03.61-20260414213734
  • Bambu_Studio_win_public-v02.04.00.70-20251118194119

I’ve tried uninstalling, clearing out all the bambu related folders in the AppData folders.

I’ve checked the 3mf version by opening up the 3mf with 7zip to look at the meta data and all have been the version I’ve been using at the time to upload.

Same here. Anyone figure out a rollback that works?

Same for me let me upload one but not anouther version

Software Bambu Studio | Bambu Lab official download , 02.06.00.51 version for none beta

I figured out the problem. When I hit edit and removed the 3mf for a remade one that wasn’t beta it wasn’t removing the profile 3mf as there’s two points to upload a 3mf. then it was trying to slice the profile 3mf (which is a couple pages after) that had not been updated to the remade 3mf so you have to remove both the 3mf at the initial upload and the 3mf at the profile page.

i got this same message when i tried to upload an image but im not understanding how you fixed it. i dont understand where you removing the files at the initial upload and the profile page. sorry noob here just trying to upload an image.

Basically you have two places to upload a 3mf, the initial upload your files and then about 3 pages later you have the upload a profile 3mf. This is the one that needs deleting and readding

ok giving it a second try. got to the 3rd page and deleted it. and re added it fingers crossed

failed again": did not pass the slicing test. Please make sure the model is sliced normally on Bambu Studio before uploading. Unsupported 3mf version. Please make sure the 3mf file was created with the official version of Bambu Studio, not a beta version.

I’ve done what one person stated on page 3 which was to remove it and add it again which i did still failed. I remove the wipe tower like it stated online and made sure that all boundaries we’re away from the edges failed. I also put it in my slicer and ran it to see if any errors none present still failed. I even exported the file and still failed. i checked online with things i could do before making the post. Can somebody please help me out thanks.

I also had this problem. I had been using the beta version of Bambu Studio and when I went to update a print profile, it gave me the error about it not being the official version. The official version is at 02.06. while the beta version is at 02.07.

I solved this by going to the Bambu Lab website and download the official version, which appears to have overwritten the beta version. I then loaded my 3MF file into Bambu Studio and then did a save as, while adding a V2 at the end of the file name. You have to change the name of your 3MF file or MakerWorld will ignore your update and give you an error. I then went to the model page on MakerWorld and replaced the print profile with the new version.

im new about should i change it to public version not beta if that works or not?

i also had this error. i made a change to a print profile and then it failed uploading it. i completely uninstalled and then re-installed the regular version and not the beta. i went back into the .3mf and saved it. once i did that, i was able to upload
