Unable to use more than single nozzle - H2D

Hello,

I am trying to print a large object on my H2D. The supports (trees) need to print in the “Left Nozzle Only” and “Right Nozzle Only” Zones. The slicing result always only shows a single filament on a single nozzle. I can drag and drop it to the Right or Left nozzle, but I am not able to assign a filament to both nozzles. As a result, I cannot complete this print, even though it fits the printing bed.

I have an AMS, but I cannot connect to it (my H2D doesn’t detect my Wifi for some reason). I am trying to assign filaments to nozzles manually.

My apologies if this is a basic question. I have tried to find a guide from Bambu, but there is no clear answer.

If I understand the question correctly - and I mean if - in the context that AMS doesn’t work.

That’s not possible the way you’re imagining it. These are two different material paths, and you can’t just switch back and forth between them.

However, there is a solution if you want to use the same filament for both material paths. Simply split one spool into two, using the same filament for both the left and right paths. You will just need an empty spool to wind the filament onto, or you can use a second spool of the same filament.

This also applies to the slicer settings and printer settings.

Take a look: This is what it looks like inside: The filament cannot simply move from left to right or vice versa. There are two separate paths. That’s why you need two spools.

However, I can’t say whether this actually solves your problem with the support trees.

I think the problem is more complex than it seems.
