Currently, Bambu Studio automatically checks the "“Enable AMS” box if one or more AMS units are connected to the printer.
It would be an improvement if when sending a print, the software checked to see if there is filament loaded from an external spool and display some sort of message/warning. It should also automatically uncheck the “Enable AMS” checkbox. When I’m printing several jobs in a row from my external spool, I have to uncheck the box before sending the print every time. I have been bitten many times by moving too fast and forgetting this step.
A warning and unchecking the box by default would make Bambu Studio “smarter” and give us a better user experience.
Something like this is what I’m thinking…
