I have used my Bambu A1 for half a year now and have recently noticed that my prints suffer from both underextrusion in the middle and overextrusion near the edges of top and bottom layers.
Some background about how I print:
- Bed levelling is always on.
- Flow calibration is used every time a roll is swapped.
- I have not changed filaments and always print with (Polyterra) PLA. I’ve read that people have issues getting this PLA to work well but the built-in filament profile always worked for me before recently.
- Supertrack plate was used to ensure that prints wouldn’t curl up at the edges (and changed the plate in the settings).
- The nozzle has been replaced by a hardened steel .4mm nozzle which fixed some of the stringing but most of the issue persists (also changed the nozzle in the settings when I replaced it and ran full recalibration).
- Tightened the heating assembly screws.
- Cleaned the extrusion gears and when that didn’t work, replaced the extrusion gears.
- I also tried ironing but those results are not nearly as clean as the top layers were initially.
I’ve also tried Bambu support but they’ve been surprisingly unhelpful.
Do any of you know if/how I could fix this?
