Does anybody know the purpose of the hole on the side of the box attached to the right of the X-axis? In the A1 Mini, there is a PTFE connector, but in the A1, there is nothing. I’m thinking of using a spool holder directly on the table, not over the printer. It should be a nice way to keep the cable fixed and the tube guided to the spool. The only problem is that it would be better if the connector were double…
The PTFE coupling is available as a spare part. Printing a complete custom part is hard due to the small clips. I made a custom clip that could be press-fit on the fitting Bambu sells. So you could create a clip to hold onto the tubes or some sort of holder for the PTFE couplings they sell. Here are the parts you would need:
