Thanks, yes, reverting firmware and studio solved it for now. I have one X1C that I didn’t revert that I will continue to experiment with and report back.
No, all normal in preview and no overridden flushing.
These don’t use flush into model infill nor infill combination. Reverting firmware and bstudio solved it for now. Will continue testing with one updated x1c

Yes, but only to one of the printers after this started because it did something even more crazy: the AMS blinking light showed a filament loaded while it was printing with a different spool in the AMS, this was solved with the factory reset, but the strange behavior with print quality continued. Reverting fw and bs solved it for now
