I ordered a X1E because of its Ethernet and WiFi interface, but I was bitterly disappointed by the network capabilities of the device.
Looks like the printer and the (Windows-)client with the Bambu Studio software or the (Android) mobile phone must must be in the same network. If they are not in the same network, BL Studio or BL Mobile application can not find the printer.
Looks like the software components use some kind of broadcast protocoll to find the printer.
Come on BL, are you kidding me?
Nowadays you can expect every device to be capable of unicast networking.
Can you guys please add propper Unicast support in BL Studio and the mobile apps? Just type in the IP address of the printer and thats it? Thats a standard today. Thanks!
