Unknown buildup on idler pulley

I’ve been having weird printing artefacts for quite some time and despite purchasing $100 worth of parts and replacements at the recommendation of Bambu support I was having little to no overall improvement. I decided to strip down my X1C and see if I could find something. When I was disassembling I noticed that the teethed pulley on the left rear XY motor had some strange buildup. When I managed to remove the belts I noticed the following on both of the left and right lower pulleys.

This buildup is not cosmetic and has small bumps that could be close to 1mm in height in some areas. Interestingly it’s also primarily on one belt set of pulleys and only minor on the other. I’m unsure of what it could be as I’ve never greased/lubed the belts so unless it’s buildup from printing filament, such as carbon fiber, I’m at a loss as to what it could be.

Answered it yourself, most likely grime from filament. Alcohol wipe and back to business
