Unknown Error code and something maybe unrelated?

Hello, I am using an X-1 Carbon. Trying to print my first file that isn’t one of the preloaded ones and I am getting an unknown error code: 1000c003 183903. I have no idea what this means nor is it in the Bambu Wiki.

Also, the white plastic piece over the print nozzle keeps smashing into the door on the left hand side and popping that piece off. Then disconnecting the plugs attached to it. I would show a video of this happening, but this is my first post and Discourse won’t let me yet, so instead, here’s a picture of the piece that keeps popping open.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: So I have managed to diagnose some of the problem. The nozzle needing cleaning. However, still can’t figure out why the device is doing this.

I would contact support before something gets destroyed. You can check if the head moves freely over the bed (can it reach the furthest corners? turn it off and try moving it by hand, notice any major resistance), but I wouldn’t mess with it if it’s new, let support handle that.

Do you have a correct printer selected in the slicer? Supposedly trying to print a model sliced for A1 can cause stuff like this (mind boggles why there’s no check…)

Check that you have correct printer and nozzle selected, also did the problem start post update, and does it do it only from computer or from sd card/preload files as well. If it started after an update make sure its not set to the a1 in the slicer, also make sure correct nozzle is selected. Also always fully power down machine post updates, this may sound odd but litterally post update i actually unplug machine from wall and while unplugged flip the back power button 2-3 times as this clears anything holding in residual memory, and has helped fix a few errors mine has had in the past post update. Plug back in and do a calibration on the machine after each update. You may also want to do a rehoming and retention of the belts the same way you did when you first got the printer. Powered off the screws on the back, move head all around then being back to back corner. Tighten screws just to snug dont hard turn them. Power on and do the calibration/self test and see if that fixes it for you. If not then use the handy app to open a support ticket.

So it turns out that despite selecting the X1 Carbon in the slicer’s set up, the actual program still had the A1 selected. Everything appears to be working fine now and the printer is no longer smashing itself against the frame. Thank you for the suggestion and advice.
