Unload filament automatically when stopping a print manually

Is there a way to Unload filament automatically when stopping a print manually? So i always get filament to unload when print is stopped manually? x1c with ams

Not at the moment — I submitted that request a few months ago.

Normally, I stop a print because there’s a problem. I fix it, clear the plate, and then start the print again. I don’t want the filament to unload. That’ll just add time to getting it restarted.

If you want to unload after manually stopping, just use Studio or the front panel control to “Unload”. If you’re quick about it, you won’t even have to wait for the nozzle to reheat.

When I’m not running the AMS, if I want to unload I just reach in and squeeze the filament cutter lever by hand, and then pull the filament out from the back of the printer.
