Unrectract problem

Hello,

I have a little problem with some filaments (PLA and PETG). I guess it is happening while unretraction.
Whole print is printed really well, I have done the flow test and temperature tests on the calibration cube (210 degrees and .93 flow) and the K-factor setting and for this filament. Everything looks great, except this part. Did anybody had such an issue?

Also I have noticed that while trying to tweek the retraction settings, if i do not check any box it stays like this:

but if i check “wipe distance” and “retract amout before wipe”, and i do not change the values it suddenly moves the retraction in the place of the unretract.

Could it be a bug?

HI Felippe,

It’s not a bug that is the correct way retract amount before wipe this was used with Bowden printers mostly do to the delay of the extruder.

Location of the main retraction settings but you can change them with the overrides.

Is your part like 1 - 2 wall loops and is that a gap seam hole hard to tell in photo ?

You might have to close your seam gap down more to 3% or zero
seem gap

Have a good one :v:

Thanks for the answer.

The part in the picture has 1 wall loop.

How can you access the seam gap setting? Cannot seem to find it anywhere.

Ya you have to use Orca slicer to have the seam gap option.

You can also adjust the slice gap closing radius to 0.001 it will help with some parts.
